Robert M. Bierwagen
Bob has been helping clients achieve success since 1977. He began his career with Olivetti Corp. of America helping to design, sell, and support the company's estimating, job costing and accounting solutions to Minneapolis area manufacturing firms. In 1978 he joined Hagen Systems, a custom software developer with revenues under $2MM. There he led the team that developed Hagen's first estimating system and transition to a turnkey solutions provider. During his tenure with the company Bob served as VP of Sales, VP of Development, and VP of Technology. In this last role he led the R&D and operational teams that created the Hagen OA Software Suite, helping the company grow into a premier provider of Business Management Systems doing over $20MM annually. In 2000 when Hagen was acquired as part of an industry consolidation move, Bob joined the Executive Team of Printcafe as VP of Sales Operations, helping to consolidate the sales and marketing efforts of 6 companies. In late 2000 he accepted a similar challenge with the portfolio of Printcafe product offerings, and served as Sr. VP of Product Management (helping to take the company public in 2002) until March 2003 when the company was acquired by EFI. Bob joined Creo Americas in May 2003 as Business Dev. Mgr for Business Workflow, his primary role bringing the Creo Enterprise Management Solution (EMS) into reality while working closely with Epicor Software and the Vantage Manufacturing ERP which provides the core foundation for Creo EMS. In 2003 he was also named Director of Technical Working Groups for the Network Graphic Production (NGP) initiative, an international Graphic Arts industry partnership of 50 major suppliers to implement and deliver integrated XML solutions across multiple partner platforms, and served in that position through 2004. With the Eastman Kodak acquisition of Creo in 2005, Bob was named US & Canada Regional Manager for Business Workflow Products and was responsible for all functions around Kodak EMS including sales, system implementation, and client support until founding Clarity Interactive in July 2006. Bob continues to serve as an outside director of communication solutions provider Suttle-Straus, Inc. of Waunakee, WI, is a past member of the Progress Software Executive Advisory Council, is an NAPL Certified Financial Executive (CFE), and in 2004 was named the NAPL Technical Leadership honoree in recognition of his efforts in furthering MIS products and services in the industry. |
Bradley J. Bierwagen Project Manager
Bradley J. Bierwagen graduated in 2006 with a B.A. from the Foster College of Business Administration at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In addition to receiving his degree in International Business with a concentration in Marketing, Brad also completed a minor in Spanish, which included six months’ studying in Querètaro, Mexico at the Institutio Tecnològico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Brad also spent three years working as a Resident Advisor for the university. Brad’s course studies have provided hands on experience through his work on several major consulting projects with area organizations. These include: -Assisting a Peoria non-profit organization with the identification and cataloguing of its primary donor base and with the subsequent development of a marketing strategy to best connect with its patrons. -Development of a comprehensive plan for a pneumatic tool manufacturer in Moline, Illinois to introduce its products to Europe. The final report included a broad range of recommendations including: a multi-faceted market analysis, cultural analysis, customs requirements for major EU members, and pro-forma financial statements. -Completion of English to Spanish language translation project for a major provider of MIS system to the Graphic Arts industry for all User Interface screens and On-Line Help. During his college career, Brad also worked as an Account Services Intern at Bodkin Associates, Inc. - a full service Indianapolis marketing firm that specializes in minority marketing. His responsibilities included daily tasks such as copywriting, account services, proofreading, and communication with print providers. While at Bodkin, he also was responsible for several major projects including Pasaporte, a Spanish language guide to the Indianapolis area. His responsibilities included research of available resources to the Hispanic community, copywriting of editorial content, and development of financial support for this first time publication through ad placement sales to local advertisers. Brad helped to co-found Clarity Interactive as a partner in July of 2006. |
